just thinkin'

My job is ending in about 1-2 months. And even tho I am looking forward to being at home (and being a housewife again), I am looking at it as a new challenge!

I will be cooking more at home and I will be baking more too. I never have time to bake anymore and I used to really enjoy it (but my husband Tommy enjoys it more-ha). I will keep you updated on my progress.

I will also be doing more canning in the year 2009 too. I have just started canning about 2 months ago. So far, I have canned carrots, potatoes and pears. I love the thought of canning. Buying produce while its in season and preserving it for later use. And I do not have to store it in my freezer (which is already full).

I have read today that the economy is going to be getting worse before it gets better so I will need to really start saving in big and little ways. I will be sure to share my tips with all of you too.

Xmas is just around the corner. Luckily, I bought all my Xmas gifts last year at an after Xmas Clearance sale! I will have to do that again this year for Xmas 2009.
