My friend Gary always tells me that I’m the person that ‘likes having champagne taste on a beer budget’. And he is right, who doesn’t right? I like saving money!!
Lately, I have expanded my diva-ways and my favorite finds are ‘services’. Such as spa services, maid services etc… After all, who would turn down maid service? It was a little difficult at first to talk my husband Tommy into letting me spend money on maid service. His big argument was that I work from home so I should also be able to keep up with the house. That is not necessarily true, when I am working I cannot be cleaning the house. After all, I am working! When I started finding maid services a great rate-even he had to admit it was a great deal.
Don’t get me wrong, I still like using my coupons. But I needed to find more ways to save money for all of the little extras, and I think I did pretty good on it. Now, please don’t start thinking that I have weekly maid service. That is not the case. But we all need a little help once in a while.
