This is a pretty sweet deal and it comes at a great time (right before the holiday season).

1-800-Flowers' rewards program 'Fresh Rewards' is giving 40 points for every reminder (birthday, holiday, anniversary, etc) that you add to your Fresh Rewards account.

You can add as many as you would like but can only get a total of 400 bonus points, which is good for a $40 Savings Pass (i.e. gift card) from 1-800-Flowers. But you really just need to add 10 to get 400 points.

The $40 saving passes can be used for anything on their site-which is nice. So, when you sign up you are supposed to receive your bonus within a few days.

Here's how to get the deal:

1. Sign up for Fresh Rewards

2. Add 10 reminders (birthdays, anniversaries, etc)

3. Wait for the points to be added to your account. I does take 24-48 hours so you will need to be a little patient

4. Check your email for the $40 savings pass (but, you may get two $20 savings passes instead).

5. Start shopping with your free $40 savings pass! Really cool, huh?

My family comes over for Thankgsgiving but not for Xmas-so it will be nice to send flowers for Xmas to my parents!!
